Junior Paediatric Clinical Fellow
Junior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics (Fixed-Term, 12 Months)
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles. About the Role
We are seeking a **Junior Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics (ST1 + ST2 equivalent or above) for a fixed-term, 12-month position, offering an opportunity to develop in the field of paediatrics or General Practice.
This New Graduate Register (NGR)-eligible role is based at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow—a state-of-the-art facility that opened in June 2015.
You will be involved in:
- Acute paediatric receiving
- Emergency Department rotations
- Medical Specialty areas

Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold full GMC registration and a licence to practice.
- Be at the level of ST1 + ST2 or above to meet the eligibility standards for this post.
- If you have not recently completed a UK Foundation programme (within 3.5 years of the advertised start date), you may be required to submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST). This must:
- Be completed by a consultant who has worked with you for at least 3 continuous months (whole-time equivalent) within the 3.5-year qualifying window.
