Key Responsibilities
The Claims & Enforcement Team is seeking a driven and enthusiastic communicator to support debt recovery efforts. Your responsibilities include:
- Issuing and managing legal procedures to recover debts for our clients.
- Engaging with customers/debtors via telephone, correspondence, and email to:
- Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements.
- Assess affordability and vulnerabilities in debt cases.
- Contributing to the team’s success in achieving target-driven outcomes.
- Prioritising career progression opportunities in a supportive environment.

Requirements
Previous Experience
- Experience using case management systems (essential).
- Prior work in debt recovery roles within Finance, Utilities, or Local Authority (desirable).
Knowledge & Skills
- A solid understanding of legal and court processes related to debt recovery.
- Familiarity with Lexcel standards and Data Protection (DPA) requirements (desirable).
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE standard (grades A–C in Mathematics and English or equivalent).
- ILEX Level 3 Legal Executive Diploma or above (desirable).
- Qualifying law degree and Legal Practice Course completion (desirable).
