The Role:

As part of the Studio team, the responsibility of the Junior Photographer is to action all ecommerce photographer across our apparel and footwear brands and support the Mid-Weight Photographer in creative asset requests for ecommerce and social media platforms. You’ll be tasked with following SEVENSTORE’s creative vision of our ecommerce platform as set by the Head of Marketing & Creative. You’ll maintain best practice, not only to achieve high standards of imagery but to agreed efficiencies within the studio.

To excel in this role, you need to be passionate, proactive, and extremely organized. You will have well-developed interpersonal skills, a positive, can-do attitude, and be a strong team player. This role is well suited for an enthusiastic and creative individual looking to work with some of the world’s leading brands, alongside community-based projects across the North-West and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Action weekly ecommerce shoots for apparel, footwear, and accessories as set by the Creative Lead / Photographer Lead
  • Support the Mid-Weight Photographer in creative asset requests for ecommerce and social media platforms
  • Assist the photographer team on wider campaign shoots
  • Assist on weekly planning
  • Record all assets shot and update weekly production trackers
  • Good studio practice, keeping work areas tidy and making sure kit is stored correctly
  • Work closely with the retouch department, providing retouch notes and feedback

About you:

  • Background in studio photography is required
  • Must have a good level of competency in shooting still life fashion product
  • Ability to shoot e-commerce stills and creative stills which must be presented in a portfolio
  • The ability to shoot allocated product within the deadline set each day, with emphasis on both quality and quantity
  • Must have a strong understanding of other areas within a Photo Studio such as retouch, production, and styling
  • Must be a team player, with the ability to work with a large team of different people in various roles on a day-to-day basis
  • Strong understanding of SEVENSTORE’s brand roster and competitors
