Job Description – Junior PMO Administrator
We specialise in delivering complex IT programmes across public sector organisations. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Junior PMO Administrator to help drive programme excellence within a high-profile account.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, practice-getting role where you’ll:
- Support day-to-day programme operations.
- Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders while maintaining governance, reporting accuracy, and client relationships.
- Gain exposure to large-scale public sector transformations.
- Adapt quickly across company and client systems and frameworks to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities

PMO Support
- Maintain PMO standards, methodologies and governance frameworks aligned with client requirements and ** organisational objectives**.

Programme Oversight
- Assist with portfolio reporting, risk tracking and issue management.

- Support resource allocation, capacity planning, and budget oversight within the PMO function.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Qualifications

Any formal experience in PMO or UK public sector environments (we welcome diverse applicants as part of our social value commitment).

GCSEs / National 5 certifications at least.

Technical Proficiencies
- Microsoft 365 fluency, including:
- Excel
- Teams
- SharePoint
- PowerPoint
- Basic budget and financial tracking knowledge required.
- Able to obtain and maintain a UK security clearance.
- Microsoft 365 fluency, including:

Public Sector Knowledge Understanding of government processes and delivery environments.

Methodologies & Processes Familiarity with agile and waterfall frameworks.

Stakeholder Management Proven ability to effectively engage with civil servants and public sector colleagues.

Commercial Acumen Insight into basic budget and financial management principles.
