Cranswick Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today's busy consumers. Working closely with customers, our bespoke chicken products offer creative and flavorsome lunchtime solutions.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Development team as a Junior Process Technologist. You will be responsible for new product development in specified areas of the business. The role will involve external contact with customers as well as internal contact with own department, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Technical and Category teams.
The key elements of the role are:
- Support the delivery of process development projects from factory handover through to launch and post launch review.
- Assist with planning, execution and reporting of factory trials, validations and optimisation activities.
- Build understanding of process capability.
- Collect, analyse and interpret process and production data to support decision making.
- Work collaboratively across Process, NPD, Operations, Technical, Engineering, Planning, Procurement and Commercial teams.
- Develop effective working relationships with production teams to support smooth trial execution and implementation.
- Attend project meetings.
- Build knowledge through coaching and mentoring from senior team members.
- Support the successful delivery of projects to agreed timelines, quality standards and business objectives.
- Assist in coordinating project activities across departments to ensure effective execution.
- Maintain project trackers, action logs and key milestone plans.
- Support preparation of project updates and review documentation.
- Ensure trial plans, actions and outputs are documented and communicated effectively.
- Support post-trial and post-launch reviews to identify opportunities and lessons learned.
- Develop understanding of Stage & Gate processes and project governance requirements.
