Imagine a Future with Verda

Imagine a future where everyone has instant, low-cost access to intelligence. We’re building a fully featured European AI cloud - with everything one needs to train, experiment with, and deploy AI models. In addition, our GPUs run on 100% renewable energy.

We’re ambitious, curious, and gutsy doers. We practice a low hierarchy across the company and high morale in our teams. We’ve already achieved a lot, yet we’re At Verda, we're building a fully featured European AI cloud, covering everything needed to train, experiment with, and deploy AI models at scale.

We are a full-stack AI infrastructure company, meaning we design, operate, and optimize the compute powering modern AI workloads across training and inference. Our infrastructure runs on 100% renewable energy, helping build a more sustainable AI ecosystem.

Join Verda while it’s still being built - not once it’s finished.

About The Role

Verda's procurement needs are growing. More data centers, more hardware, more vendors, more orders, and the team needs another person who can get things done reliably, learn the supply chain fast, and take real ownership of procurement tasks from early on.

We're looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist to join the UK procurement team. You don't need years of experience. You need to be organised, commercially curious, willing to learn how hardware supply chains actually work, and ready to take ownership of tasks rather than wait to be told what to do next.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You’ll Do

  • Support end-to-end procurement operations: receiving purchase requests, issuing RFQs, handling quotations, comparing prices, placing orders, and tracking deliveries
  • Coordinate logistics for incoming shipments, order follow-ups, expediting delayed shipments, and working with freight partners on customs and clearance
  • Handle invoice reconciliation and maintain accurate procurement documentation in coordination with Finance
  • Manage smaller component orders independently, building operational experience across Verda's hardware categories
  • Support vendor sourcing and supplier onboarding, researching new vendors, making initial contact, and maintaining supplier records
  • Monitor inventory levels and flag shortfalls or discrepancies to the team lead
  • Communicate professionally with suppliers and internal teams, assessing priorities, determining the right action, and following up without being chased

What We’re Looking For

  • Some experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain coordination, logistics, or a commercially oriented operations role. We're open to strong recent graduates with relevant internship or project experience
  • Organized and detail-oriented, you track open tasks, follow up proactively, and keep documentation clean without being reminded
  • Commercially curious: you want to understand the products you're buying, the vendors you're working with, and the supply chain behind them, not just process the paperwork
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English
  • Comfortable working 5 days a week in our London office
