Junior Project Manager
Junior Project Manager- (Contract-12 Months)
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Day Rate: £300–£350/day (Inside IR35)
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join a major telecommunications programme in London on a 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role, requiring a mix of on-site collaboration and remote working. You'll support the delivery of key projects within a fast-paced telecom environment, working alongside senior PMs, technical leads, and cross-functional stakeholders.
This is a great opportunity for a PM with 1–3 years of experience to develop their delivery skills on a large-scale, high-visibility programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end project delivery, from planning through to execution and closure
- Maintain project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status reports
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical, commercial, operations) to track progress and unblock issues
- Prepare and present status updates to stakeholders and senior project managers
- Schedule and run project meetings/workshops, including minute-taking and action tracking
- Support budget tracking and resource planning under guidance from senior PMs
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date, and audit-ready
- Identify risks and escalate proactively to senior stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years' experience in a project coordination or junior project management role
- Experience within telecommunications, IT, or a related technical industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with MS Office / Project tools (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, or similar); experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus
- Right to work in the UK

Desirable
- Prince2 Foundation/Practitioner or equivalent PM certification
- Exposure to telecom network rollout, infrastructure, or systems integration projects
