Junior Project Planner

Project Planner Graduate Role – Ericsson (NEU PMO, Reading, UK)

About the Role

Are you a recent graduate eager to launch your career in project planning, project governance, and project financial management within a global technology leader?

Join Ericsson’s North Europe Project Office (NEU PMO) and gain hands-on experience supporting Customer Project Managers, planners, and project finance colleagues. This role is perfect for ambitious graduates who thrive on data, structure, and structured mentorship while building expertise in project delivery, governance, reporting, and responsible business practices.

You’ll receive structured training, mentorship, and progression opportunities for your first 12 months, enabling you to develop into specialist roles—such as Project Planning, Project Management, or Project Financial Management—within Ericsson’s PMO.

Responsibilities

You’ll collaborate closely with local and global teams to ensure seamless project execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Project Planning & Governance

    • Assist the NEU PMO team in delivering structured project planning, reporting, and governance activities for customer projects.
    • Translate project and contract information into clear planning inputs, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies with guidance from Customer Project Managers.
  • Tool-Based Coordination

    • Support project planning and scheduling using tools like Site Tracker, Global Chronos, and SAP.
    • Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and action trackers to provide stakeholders with visibility into progress, risks, issues, and forecasts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
