Our Exciting Opportunity
Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in project planning, project governance and project financial management within a global technology company?
Join Ericsson’s North Europe Project Office (NEU PMO) and gain hands-on experience supporting Customer Project Managers, Planners, and project finance colleagues to plan, coordinate, and report on customer projects. This role is designed for graduates who are eager to learn, enjoy working with data and structure, and want to build a strong foundation in project delivery, governance, reporting, and responsible business practices.
About the Role
You will receive structured support, training, and mentoring during your first 12 months while developing the skills and confidence to grow into roles in:
- project planning
- project management
- project financial management within the PMO
Key Responsibilities
- Support the NEU PMO team in delivering structured project planning, reporting, and governance activities for customer projects.
- You may be involved in:
- Translating project and contract information into clear planning inputs, customer deliverables, milestones, and dependencies with guidance from Customer Project Managers.
- Supporting project planning and scheduling activities using tools such as Site Tracker, Global Chronos, and SAP.
- Preparing and maintaining:
- project status reports
- dashboards
- action trackers
to give stakeholders clear visibility of:
- progress
- risks
- issues
- forecasts
- Helping maintain:
- project documentation
- version control
- project library structure to support audit readiness and effective governance.
- Using data analysis to identify:
- gaps
- inconsistencies
- potential risks
and raising these with:
- Customer Project Managers
- senior planners
- finance colleagues
- Collaborating with:
- local and global teams
- Customer Project Managers
- Network Program Directors
- Implementation Managers
- Project Finance Managers
- engineers
- delivery teams
- customers
- partners

Development and Mentoring
You will join a structured 12-month development and mentoring programme, designed for your first role after university. You will learn:
- Ericsson ways of working
- NEU PMO practices
- project tools
- reporting routines
You may:
- Shadow experienced Project Planners
- Shadow Project Managers
- Shadow MCOs (Models & Coordination Officers)
As you develop, you will progressively take ownership of planning and reporting activities with:
- regular feedback
- a clear development plan
- access to Ericsson learning resources
Requirements
- This role is intended for candidates at the start of their career who are motivated to learn, contribute, and grow within the PMO environment.
- A recent university degree (or equivalent) in relevant fields including:
- Business
- Engineering
- Project Management
- Finance
- Economics
- Data/Analytics
- similar disciplines
- Strong motivation to build a career in:
- project management
- PMO
- project financial management within Ericsson
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to comfortably work with:
- numbers
- data
- structured information
- Strong organisational skills, including managing:
- multiple tasks
- following through to completion
- Clear and confident communication skills:
- written
- verbal with the ability to:
- adapt to different stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset and ability to:
- build relationships across functions and cultures
- Proactive, curious, and continuous-improvement mindset:
- open to feedback
- keen to learn new tools and methods
- Good working knowledge of:
- standard office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Any exposure to planning, reporting, or analytics tools is advantageous.
- Working proficiency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
