Junior Quality Engineer
Role Profile
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role will support quality assurance and quality control activities by inspecting products, testing materials, identifying defects, and helping implement corrective actions.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Participate in a positive and proactive EHS culture across the site.
- Management of Product Verification Paperwork
- Own the creation of FAIRs, PPAPs, Attribute Sheets, and Inspection Plans
- Support wider Quality with FMEAs and APQP projects

MRB Management
- Manage the daily Material Review Board (MRB) meeting
- Assist with dispositioning MRRs and track the time taken to execute dispositions across all areas

Internal Auditing
- Carry out internal QMS Audits, 5S Audits, and Quality Genba Walks
- Identify non-conformities and support the implementation of corrective actions (Full training provided.)

Tier Meeting Representation
- Attend Tier 1 & 2 Meetings as the Quality Representative, escalating risks and providing support as required

Facilitate Quality Projects
- Work with the team to identify and support the implementation of quality projects
- Contribute to cost and process optimisation initiatives

Reporting
- Facilitate MRB/QRB data reporting, improvements, and cost savings as needed
