About The Role

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering safe, professional and high-quality diagnostic radiography services to a diverse patient population.
  • Performing a broad range of imaging examinations using digital radiography and theatre-based C-arm equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with IR(ME)R 2017, IRR17, radiation safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Justifying imaging referrals, reviewing reports and helping maintain the highest standards of clinical governance.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding patient-centred care.
  • Supporting audits, quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate radiology records and patient data.

Varied shift patterns between 07:45 and 20:15

What we'll look for in you

  • BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, DCR(R) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation protection, IR(ME)R regulations and diagnostic imaging best practice.
  • Experience working confidently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and delivering exceptional standards of care.
  • A values-driven individual who treats others with respect, acts with integrity, embraces diversity and strives to do things better together.
