Looking to kickstart your career in recruitment?
At Rotate Recruitment, we're growing our Building Surveying division and we're looking for someone ambitious, driven and people-focused to join the team. You'll be working alongside experienced Directors and senior recruiters every day, learning the industry from people who've built long-standing relationships across the property and construction consultancy sector.
We partner with some of the UK's biggest names including Savills, Ridge, Cushman & Wakefield and other leading consultancies, helping them attract and grow their divisions. This is a genuine opportunity to learn, develop and build a successful recruitment career within a growing business that does things differently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support your manager/Principal Consultant on live vacancies, initially, from learning to source candidates, create marketing materials and begin to build relationships with clients.
- Manage interviews, offers and candidate relationships from start to finish.
- Keep recruitment systems and pipelines organised and up to date.
- Learn the commercial side of recruitment, with the opportunity to start building your own client relationships as you develop.
- After training you’ll be supported in running your own 360 desk.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
