THE ROLE

We are seeking a commercially minded Junior Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement and Vendor Management team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role will play a key part in advancing our procurement transformation agenda, with a particular focus on SaaS and technology services sourcing.

The Junior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to develop and execute sourcing strategies
  • Optimising supplier relationships for commercial value across our software portfolio
  • Supporting a broad scope, including non-SaaS categories when required

Responsibilities

  • Procurement leadership for:
    • IT/Technology categories, including:
      • Hardware
      • Software
      • SaaS
  • Embedging within the business as internal stakeholder liaison for IT/Technology procurement
  • Vendor and spend analysis to identify opportunities for savings and improvement
  • Partnering in the RFQ/RFP process for IT/technology requests
  • Developing and optimising license models to meet functional requirements
  • Leading or supporting vendor negotiations (new and existing contracts)
  • Delivering commercial outcomes in the IT category whilst maintaining quality
  • Ad hoc category management, including renewals with low complexity

From You

We’re looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:

  • Process-driven mindset with attention to detail
  • Proven communication skills—writing, speaking, relationship management
  • Ability to prioritise deadlines and multitask while maintaining standards
  • Capacity to act on direction to execute tasks independently
  • At least 2 years’ experience in IT category management or related procurement
  • Practical knowledge of who isn’t required
  • Expertise with Omnea (procurement software) is desirable but not mandatory

Ideal qualities include: ✔ Team player mentality ✔ Understanding of software licensing, IT infrastructure, and related hardware
