Job Description

Who You'll Work With

We are experiencing tremendous growth and have an immediate need for a Junior Administrator to join our sales team. You’ll support our quoting and order workflows, gaining insight into how a hi-tech networking business operates. Key duties include:

  • Preparing customer quotes
  • Processing orders
  • Supporting the sales team with day-to-day admin

Networking background not required—we’ll train you on products and systems. Ideal candidates are organised, accurate, and eager to learn.

Position is a Fixed Term Contract (6 months).


What You’ll Do

  • Prepare customer quotations using templates and price lists, under senior guidance
  • Enter and update orders in our CRM/ERP system post-approval
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records
  • Track outstanding quotes and orders, chasing internally for updates
  • Handle routine paperwork:
    • File contracts
    • Send order confirmations
    • Provide basic invoicing support
  • Respond to simple customer queries (email/phone), escalating technical issues appropriately
  • Support the sales team with:
    • Diary management
    • Document preparation
    • Data entry tasks
  • Liaise with distributors/suppliers on simple enquiries (e.g., stock/checking delivery dates)

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly with numbers and communication
  • Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets, with enthusiasm for learning new software
  • Well-organised, able to multitask while following processes accurately
  • Proactive attitude, with a willingness to ask questions and learn new skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English (for customer correspondence)

Desirable (Training Provided)

  • Some office admin or customer service experience (even part-time/casual roles count)
  • Interest in IT or technology
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (not mandatory)
