Permanent | Field-Based (Midlands & North UK) | £30,000–£35,000 + £350/month car allowance
We are working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Junior Sales Executive to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is motivated by new business development, relationship building, and hitting targets in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
The role will be heavily focused on driving new business, with approximately 90% of activity centred around prospecting and winning new customers, alongside 10% account management of newly secured clients. You will play a key role in expanding market presence and supporting continued business growth across two established UK sites.
This is a field-based position, covering the Midlands and the North of the UK, with regular client visits and travel expected. There may also be occasional international travel depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and client visits
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and present products and solutions in a confident and consultative manner
- Manage a small portfolio of accounts post-sale to support ongoing growth and retention
- Track and maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline development, and client interactions
- Work towards agreed sales targets and KPIs, with a strong focus on new revenue generation
- Conduct client meetings both face-to-face and via virtual platforms where required
- Represent the business across the Midlands and Northern regions, promoting full product range and capabilities
Training & Development
- Full product and industry training provided
- Initial 3-month shadowing period with a senior sales team member
- Ongoing support and close collaboration for the first 6 months to ensure full onboarding and development

What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years’ experience in a customer-facing sales, business development, or account-based role
- Ideally exposure to a manufacturing, engineering, or product-based environment (desirable, not essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident, resilient, and motivated by hitting targets
- Well-organised with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Package & Benefits
- Salary £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
- £350 per month car allowance
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Field-based role with travel across Midlands & Northern regions
- Occasional UK and limited international travel
- Offices based in Oldbury and Walsall (flexible access required)
