Company Description
Beams Renovation is a B Corp certified, technology-enabled home renovation marketplace based in East London. Founded by Hayden Wood, the co-founder of Bulb Energy, the company provides a structured "operating system" for renovations, connecting homeowners with vetted builders while managing pricing, contracts, and payments to bring transparency to a fragmented industry.
Job Description
As a Junior Sales Planner at Beams Renovation, you will guide homeowners through the emotional and financial journey of home improvement. Handling strong inbound demand rather than cold calling, you'll consult on project goals, define scopes for renovations ranging from £20k-£80k, and manage a high-trust pipeline to turn vague ideas into successful builds.
Location
London, UK
Why this role is remarkable
- Work directly with high-intent inbound leads in a B Corp certified environment, focusing on consultative guidance and project shaping rather than aggressive cold-calling tactics.
- Join a high-growth startup founded by Hayden Wood, who previously scaled Bulb Energy into one of the UK’s fastest-growing private companies with over 1.5 million customers.
- Benefit from an uncapped commission structure where top performers earn £45k-£55k in their first year, alongside meaningful share options in a scaling technology marketplace.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
