Junior Sales Support Executive
Job Details
- Location: Aldgate, Central London (hybrid working)
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Full-time
- Reports to: Commercial Manager
Works closely with the wider commercial team, including the Growth Director and Managing Director
Role Purpose
Cavell is a specialist research, events, and consulting firm covering the cloud communications market - UCaaS, CCaaS, Microsoft Teams, and adjacent technologies. Our clients are the leading vendors and service providers in the industry, and they buy three things from us: research subscriptions, sponsorship of our industry events, and consulting projects.
The Junior Sales Support Executive exists to give our commercial team their time back. Much of the commercial team’s week can disappear into non-revenue-generating admin: chasing sponsors after they have signed, making sure research has been allocated to the right people, coordinating meetings, and keeping the CRM accurate. This role owns that work, so the commercial team can spend their time on business development and speaking to clients.
You will work across every team in the business to coordinate product delivery, and you will see first-hand how research subscriptions are sold and renewed, and how sponsorship deals for our events are structured and delivered.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
