G T Williams Ltd is a long-established family-owned Engineering company specialising in utilities and now rapidly expanding within the telecommunication industry.

We’re recruiting for a Junior Scheduler

Location: Caernarfon

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Minimum of 40 hours a week with flexibility to increase as necessary

Main Purpose of Post

To plan, schedule, and coordinate all operational works, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and the smooth running of site operations.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Schedule and monitor daily works to meet service level agreements (SLAs), avoid operational bottlenecks, and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Review job packs in detail, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate information is updated accordingly.
  • Report emerging issues to management and take proactive steps to prevent or minimise disruption.
  • Support the Senior Scheduler and Operations Supervisor with scheduling and administrative tasks as required.
  • Ensure all correspondence and records are accurate, up to date, and well documented.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Carry out any other duties as required to meet business needs, subject to appropriate training.

Ideal Candidate

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK and be able to provide right to work documentation.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence (max 3 points).
  • Have excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Be self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Work well under pressure, both independently and in a team.
  • Be able to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Have experience in admin, scheduling, and fast-paced coordination.
  • Show awareness of Health & Safety and Environmental practices.
  • Be flexible to work overtime, evenings, and weekends when needed.
  • Be willing to travel between GT Williams offices and undertake training.
  • Welsh language and First Aid skills are desirable.
  • Project management and traffic management planning experience are a plus.
