Job Description:

The Junior Share Plans Analyst will support the effective administration of Gunvor Group equity plans and employee share programs. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Share Plans Analyst to assist with equity compensation administration, employee transactions, data management, and the development of analytical models to enhance forecasting and reporting capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a keen interest in compensation, equity plans, and data-driven analysis. This person will also encourage the responsible use of AI-enabled tools to support processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of data-driven insights, in line with company policies and data governance standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the global administration of the company’s equity plans (executive and all-employee) in collaboration with the Share Plans Manager;
  • Maintain accurate Participant equity records and databases to assist in educating Participants as well as record-keeping;
  • Process share plan transactions, including grants, vests, exercises, transfers, and leavers;
  • Maintain and enhance existing share plan models/platforms (alongside external vendors);
  • Develop tools to improve forecasting and analytics capabilities;
  • Prepare reports and reconciliations for stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and Finance;
  • Support regulatory, tax compliance, audit, and internal control activities;
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives;
  • Provide data reporting and ad-hoc analysis as required;
  • Liaise with external vendors and third parties when needed.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree in business administration, finance/accounting or similar field) or equivalent experience in a big 4 firm, or similar.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of Shareplan based tax and regulatory considerations (multi-country exposure preferred);
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate, interpret, and validate large and complex datasets;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, data reconciliation, and automation techniques (including VBA for process improvement);
  • Expertise in PowerBI and Python a plus;
  • Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to produce clear reports and presentations.
  • Strong problem solving and research skills (i.e. complex issues related to the share plans scheme).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines and detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and highly motivated to continually improve.
  • Strong work ethic, including the ability to work as part of a small dynamic team.
  • Capable of working effectively and independently.
