Are you an experienced registered nurse ready to take the next step in your health care career?
An exciting opportunity of a Band 6 Junior sister/ Charge nurse position has come available within our Surgical Short Stay Unit.
This will be a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of surgical innovation while gaining experience across our established same-day surgery unit and wider clinical areas.
We are seeking for a flexible, motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience within Surgical Division in an acute NHS setting. The person should also have excellent communication skills, demonstrable recent professional development and have mentorship/equivalent qualification, to apply for this role.
As a Valued Member Of Our Team, You Will
- Act as the nurse-in-charge of clinical shifts, leading the nursing team in the delivery of evidence-based patient centered care, which is of a high standard.
- Develop your clinical skills across a wide range of surgical specialties, including: Robotic Surgery, Gynae-Urology, Maxillofacial, ENT, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics, and General Surgery.
- Assist Senior Sister in the management of the unit on a day to day basis by appropriate deployment, delegation and supervision of all grades of staff and monitor and improve standards of care by efficient and effective use of resources.
- Receive ongoing support for your professional development and career progression.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, safety, and excellence.
