Experienced Emergency Department Nurse Wanted
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic and highly supportive Emergency Department nursing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse with a strong Emergency Department background who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
As a Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in leading clinical teams, supporting junior colleagues, coordinating patient flow, and driving high standards of care across the department. You will be joining a dedicated senior nursing team that is committed to developing staff, fostering innovation, and creating a positive workplace culture.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience working as a Registered Nurse, ideally within an Emergency Department setting.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and a commitment to lifelong learning.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
- A passion for delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
- The ability to thrive in a busy and constantly evolving environment.

- Leading and coordinating patient care within a busy Emergency Department.
- Supporting patient flow and discharge planning in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
- Promoting a patient-centred approach and delivering high standards of evidence-based care.
- Providing education, advice, and support to patients, families, and carers.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Helping to create and maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment.
- Supporting the implementation of clinical policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff, students, and healthcare support workers.
- Acting as a role model for excellent communication, professionalism, and compassionate care.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities while helping to shape and develop our Emergency Department team.
