Paediatric Nursing Role Opportunity

About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the team continuing to deliver SACT on a mobile cancer care unit. This first in the UK service has been running successfully for 2 months and is fully funded to complete the pilot for an extended 8 month period. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced paediatric chemotherapy nurse to provide care for patients undergoing treatment for haematology/Oncology conditions closer to home.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating family centred care in line with the project.
- Delivering SACT treatments on a Mobile cancer care unit.
- Providing direct patient care with detailed clinical knowledge of the specialist area.
- Ensuring high standards of quality of care are delivered & maintained.
- Acting as a positive role model within the department and in the community.
- Facilitating high quality education and staff development opportunities.
