Junior Site Reliability Engineer

Junior Site Reliability Engineer

— A Rewarding Role in Cloud-Focused DevOps & SRE at TLScontact

Are we a great next step for career growth in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and cloud infrastructure? At TLScontact, we’re seeking a Junior SRE to join our team—an excellent opportunity for hands-on contributors eager to advance in a mission-driven, cloud-centric environment.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone with practical experience in DevOps, IT Operations, or SRE who wants to hone their skills while contributing to maintaining and enhancing the availability, performance, and security of our applications, infrastructure, and services. Whether you’re familiar with scripting, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms—this is the chance to deepen your knowledge in an engaging, collaborative tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud & Infrastructure Support:

    • Manage and optimise the pre-production and production environments, particularly Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
    • Leverage AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and resilience.
  • CI/CD & Automation:

    • Contribute to GitLab CI pipelines, pushing automation forward with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
    • Help transform manual workflows into efficient, automated solutions.
  • Monitoring & Incident Response:

    • Monitor system health using tools such as Datadog, ELK, or Prometheus.
    • Proactively troubleshoot issues and collaborate on incident resolution, with regular participation in on-call rotations (including nights/weekends) under structured support escalation pathways.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with data, application, and security teams to ensure the reliability and performance of production systems.
    • Contribute insights on best practices for modern deployment and system optimisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
