On behalf of one of our key partners, RED has now a new opportunity for a Junior Snowflake Engineer to start ASAP on a B2B 12 months contract, on-site project, English writing and speaking.

  • 5 years experience with Snowflake
  • 5 years of experience as Data Engineer
  • To start ASAP
  • On-site 5 days/week in Basildon, Essex
  • 12 months B2B Contract
  • English writing and Speaker.
  • Inside IR35

  • Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and consolidation.
  • Perform data mapping from source systems to Snowflake target models.
  • Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across staging, integration, and data mart layers.
  • Build, test, and maintain dbt models following engineering best practices.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through efficient query design, materializations, and clustering strategies.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and documentation standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and platform teams to establish and align data architecture patterns and standards.
