Junior Social Media Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic, digitally-native Junior Media Monitoring Specialist If you spend your days analysing trends on TikTok, tracking viral X threads, and understanding the digital pulse of the MENA region, this role is for you. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to start their career.

This role is offered on a full-time fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027.

Responsibilities:

Utalize social listening tools to monitor real-time conversations, trends, and emerging narratives across major platforms (X, TikTok, Instagram, Telegram, Facebook) in the MENA region. Stay tuned to on key regional influencers, digital tastemakers, and shifting sentiments. Flag breaking news, potential crises, or viral trends. Coordinate daily monitoring schedules and ensure coverage gaps are filled. , Orginise format, and distribute daily, weekly, and ad-hoc media reports to internal teams. Keep source lists, influencer databases, and keyword trackers meticulously updated. Assist senior analysts in gathering metrics for monthly sentiment and share-of-voice reports. Translate and summarise MENA social media content into clear, concise English insights.

Qualifications:

Fluency of at least one MENA language (Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish). Social Media Savvy: You don't just use social media; you understand how it works—algorithms, hashtags, memes, and regional digital culture. Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and keep digital workspaces organized (e.g., Notion, Trello, Excel). Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently and highly organised. 1–2 years of experience in media monitoring, social media management, agency coordination, or a related digital field. (Fresh graduates with strong internships are welcome to apply!).
