Job Title: Junior Social Video Creator (Road Cycling Focus)

Location: Central Bath (4 days a week on-site)

Reporting to: Road Cycling Creative Manager

About The Role

Play Sports Network is looking for an entry-level Junior Social Video Creator to produce high-quality short-form video content across our digital and social media channels.

In this role, you will be responsible for adapting and creating engaging, informative, and accessible vertical video content (such as Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts) centered around the world of road cycling. Reporting directly to our Creative Manager, you will work within a supportive, collaborative team environment. We provide structured training from day one, giving you the tools to develop your technical production skills while taking on real responsibility for content watched by a global audience. You’ll be in a team of social video creators so you’ll have like-minded colleagues to collaborate with.

This is a full-time Monday-to-Friday role based out of our central Bath offices, offering an excellent foundational step for anyone looking to build a professional career in digital media and sports production.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Edit Social-First Content: Cut, pace, and assemble high-quality vertical videos aligned with our weekly channel delivery schedules.
  • Reversion Video Assets: Review our long-form YouTube library to identify key highlights, informative segments, and engaging moments, repackaging them effectively for short-form platforms.
  • Contribute Creative Ideas: Participate in regular team meetings and brainstorms, sharing insights on emerging video formats, pacing styles, or platform updates that could enhance our output.
  • Understand Platform Optimization: Work closely with our Audience Development team to learn publishing best practices, including video tagging, thumbnail selection, and cross-platform formatting.
  • Support the Wider Team: Remain responsive to short-notice editing requests to assist with major race coverage, industry news, or commercial partner priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
