Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Engineer at Mimi Dental Clinic. The Junior Software Engineer will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support clinic operations and digital services. Day-to-day tasks include implementing back-end features, fixing bugs, writing clean and maintainable code, and contributing to code reviews. The role involves collaborating with senior engineers, dental staff, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The Junior Software Engineer will also help with testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of existing systems.

- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for building reliable applications.
- Candidates should possess experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development for server-side logic and data handling.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Beneficial skills include familiarity with common programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript), version control (e.g., Git), and basic understanding of databases and APIs.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate within a distributed team is important.
