About the location

Set in the heart of the City, overlooking Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, Tower Bridge is the starting point for discovering London’s historic past, alongside its exhilarating present. As impressive inside as out, this famous five-star hotel remains the centre of attention, as a new chapter begins in its history. This beautiful grade II listed building and former HQ of the Port of London Authority has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments of which 31 units are in a FS run transient rental program, a stunning ballroom which has hosted the inaugural Reception of the United Nations, 5 meeting rooms, a stunning destination spa with 8 treatment rooms, hammam, steam, sauna and swimming and vitality pool, and a fantastic Food and Beverage offering including Cooper's Cut (Modern Steakhouse), Mei Ume (Chinese/ Japanese cuisine) and Rotunda (all day dining, afternoon tea & bar)

At Four Seasons, exceptional dining experiences begin with exceptional people. Our culinary team is at the heart of the guest experience, delivering creativity, consistency, and excellence across every service. Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our Main Kitchen team on a fixed term contract from 20 July to 2 August. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high performing luxury hotel kitchen, supporting multiple outlets and contributing to exceptional guest experiences across the property.

The role

As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the leadership of the Main Kitchen operation, working closely with the Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver exceptional food quality and consistency across the hotel. You will oversee service and preparation for Coopers Cut, Rotunda Bar and Lounge, and In Room Dining, ensuring the highest culinary standards are maintained throughout every shift. This role is ideal for an experienced chef who enjoys leading from the front, supporting team development, and thriving in a fast paced luxury hospitality environment.

What you will do

  • Support the leadership and day to day operation of the Main Kitchen
  • Supervise food preparation and service across Coopers Cut, Rotunda Bar and Lounge, and In Room Dining
  • Lead, coach, and support junior chefs during preparation and service
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Monitor mise en place, stock levels, and kitchen organisation throughout service
  • Support scheduling, training, and development of culinary team members
  • Assist with food cost control, stock management, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance
  • Work collaboratively with Food and Beverage and Stewarding teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Lead by example and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef, Senior Chef de Partie, or similar leadership role
  • Strong technical culinary skills and experience within a quality driven kitchen environment
  • Experience supervising and developing junior chefs
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen compliance standards
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure
  • A positive, collaborative, and hands on leadership style
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Right to Work in the UK

What to expect

  • Five shifts per week across a rotating schedule
