Junior Sous Chef
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be working with the Head Chef & Sous Chef to run a busy kitchen. You will be creating exciting and delicious dishes to be served to our guests.

- This role would suit someone who has worked in a similar environment previously.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment and training of the kitchen team, ensuring that they are fully trained in all systems so that service and product delivery is consistent.
- Develop a close working relationship with all food & beverage managers and colleagues to ensure all guest expectations are met.
- Support the Senior Chef team in creating a team environment which promotes good morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride.
- Assist the Senior Chef team with regular appraisals of staff in order to meet their required training needs and raise any issues.
- Ensure that all food is stored correctly and stocks rotated in line with the Food Hygiene Regulations. All temperatures to be recorded as well as any corrective actions.
- Ensure there is sufficient preparation of food items to avoid interruptions to service.
- Control quality of food and ensure food wastage is minimised.
- Understand and control departmental and actual payroll cost by allocating labour resources in line with forecasted business levels.
- As an experienced chef, we encourage you to share your knowledge with new, budding KP’s and Commis coming into the industry.
- As a senior member of the kitchen team, you’ll be responsible for managing the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef
