Junior Strategist Location: London Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Join us At One Picture, we believe the most powerful insights come from understanding people in the real world — how they live, think and make consumer decisions in context. We’re a culturally-led insights and strategy agency. Our core purpose is to provide opportunities for the clients and brands we work with and for our team. That means we don’t just gather data — we get under the surface of human behaviour to uncover what really matters, and turn that into clear, commercially relevant outputs for our clients. We work closely with Sainsbury’s, Xero and Ancestry to name a few. We’re now seeking a Junior Strategist to join our London team (in a hybrid working model, with per week in the London office).
What you’ll do This is a fast-moving, hands-on role where you’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of projects working closely with a small but senior team. No two weeks will look the same. You’ll: Help keep projects running smoothly — managing tasks, timelines and logistics Support fieldwork and online communities, keeping everything organised and on track Get involved in shaping research — from discussion guides to questionnaire design Work with both qualitative and quantitative data, spotting patterns and early insights Turn data into something meaningful — helping to build clear, engaging presentations Support the team in creating work that is not just insightful, but actionable

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
