About the job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Support Engineer to join our existing experienced team.
What do we look for in a Junior Support Engineer?
Responsibilities
- Provide first response to tickets, calls, emails, and monitoring events
- Engage with users face-to-face
- Perform initial triage of incidents and requests
- Escalate tickets within the team to 2nd and 3rd line engineers as required
- Onboarding and offboarding of internal and customer users
- Ongoing support of user accounts, access, and permissions
- Build, deploy, and troubleshoot end user devices (EUDs)
- Testing, build, and tracking of physical assets including EUDs and servers
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MacOS operating systems
- Understanding of computer components and physical hardware including desktop and laptop computers and servers
- Understanding of basic networking concepts
- Azure/Microsoft 365 user and device administration
- InTune & Jamf administration
- Active Directory user and group administration
