Junior Sustainability Consultant / Strategist

Junior Sustainability Consultant / Strategist (CSRD / ESG Reporting) – £40,000–£50,000 p/a

Location: London Working Basis: Hybrid

About the Role

We are supporting a leading sustainability agency, specialising in consultancy, reporting, creative communications, and ESG strategy. Their clients—from multinational corporations to global brands—rely on their deep expertise in:

  • Sustainability strategy
  • Reporting compliance
  • Creative communications & branding

The agency establishes long-term relationships by delivering exceptional consultancy, alongside research-driven reports and tailored communications, ensuring clients can effectively demonstrate their sustainability progress.

We are looking for a Junior Sustainability Consultant with experience in ESG analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance, ideally from a consultancy or agency environment. You will:

  • Provide strategic support ensuring clients align their sustainability efforts with best practices
  • Assist in designing materiality assessments, emissions reporting, and compliance roadmaps
  • Contribute to client projects, business proposals, and stakeholder communications

We seek a detail-oriented, proactive candidate who enjoys solving complex problems and working across cross-functional teams. Your expertise in regulatory frameworks, climate disclosures, and sustainability strategy will be crucial in the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
