Role Description
This full-time hybrid Junior Systems Engineer role is based in the City of Bristol, with flexibility for some work from home. The Junior Systems Engineer will support the design, development, and implementation of systems for complex infrastructure projects, working closely with senior engineers and consultants.

Daily tasks include:

- Assisting with systems engineering activities
- Helping to document requirements and interfaces
- Contributing to integration and assurance work
- Providing basic technical support
- Participating in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and tools
The role involves collaborating across disciplines, preparing clear technical documentation, and supporting client engagements under guidance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Systems Engineering and Systems Design for supporting the development and integration of complex infrastructure solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to assist in diagnosing issues and supporting project teams and clients.
- Candidates should possess skills in System Administration to help manage, monitor, and maintain project-related systems and environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to technical work.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Interest in complex infrastructure projects and willingness to learn systems-based methods, standards, and tools.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project priorities.
