About Kroo Bank
At Kroo Bank, we’re building the future of banking with modern technology and a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and impact. Unlike traditional banks or outsourcing firms, our engineers shape real products used by thousands of customers every day in the UK.
Be part of the team that keeps the bank running. As part of Technical Operations, you’ll sit at the centre of everything — from incidents and changes to resilience, automation, and supplier operations — giving you a unique, end-to-end view of how a modern bank operates.
- Build real experience fast. You won’t be siloed into one area — you’ll gain hands-on exposure across incident management, change processes, operational resilience, business continuity, and automation, developing a well-rounded operational skillset from day one.
- Have real impact early. Your work will directly support the stability and performance of services used by thousands of customers across the UK — this isn’t a back-office role, it’s critical to how the bank operates every day.
- Learn modern operational tooling. Work with tools like Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, and automation platforms such as Make, helping you build practical, in-demand technical and operational skills.
- Develop into a specialist or leader. Whether you want to grow into a senior operational role, specialise in areas like resilience or automation, or move into broader technology or product roles, this role provides a strong foundation and clear progression path.
- Work in a highly collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with engineers, product teams, customer operations, and suppliers, building strong relationships and learning how different parts of the business come together.
- Be part of a modern, fast-growing bank. Kroo is scaling quickly, which means opportunities to take ownership, improve processes, and shape how operations evolve as we grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
