A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team where you will provide essential technical support for Siemens generators and associated products. Imagine being at the forefront of new product developments, authoring technical reports, and crafting detailed work scopes and test procedures. You will engage with internal customers and collaborate with the Siemens Global Engineering Network, ensuring seamless communication and support. As part of your role, you will also prepare for outages, including delivering impactful customer presentations. Your office-based position will involve travel to UK customer sites for outage support and fault finding, making every day an exciting challenge.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide expert technical support for Siemens generators and associated products, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate on new product developments, contributing your engineering insights to drive innovation.
- Author comprehensive technical reports, work scopes, and test procedures that enhance our operational efficiency.
- Support internal customers by facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the Siemens Global Engineering Network.
- Prepare for outages by delivering engaging customer presentations and providing on-site support for fault finding.
What You Bring
- A completed University Degree in Engineering, showcasing your foundational knowledge.
- Experience in the Power Generation industry, particularly with large turbo-generators and auxiliary systems, is advantageous; however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- A high level of practical engineering knowledge, demonstrating your hands-on capabilities.
- A willingness to learn about the Siemens generator product range, showing your commitment to professional growth.
- Familiarity with Control & Instrumentation, Hydrogen systems, and ATEX requirements is desirable.
- Proficiency with ERP and drawing retrieval systems, enabling you to efficiently locate drawings, BOMs, and procedures.
