Junior Territory Sales Manager – Leicestershire & Lincolnshire

(Internal Title: Associate Territory Sales Manager)

About the Role

You will join Dexcom’s UK & Ireland Field Sales Team, supporting the Community and Primary Care Diabetes Market across Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll Cultivate strategic stakeholder relationships, drive CGM product adoption, and expand access to life-changing diabetes solutions for thousands of patients. This team is dedicated to accelerating healthcare equity through innovative sales strategies, local ICS/CCG policy support, and medical education of healthcare professionals (HCPs).

This position offers a strong foundation for a long-term career in medical sales, where rapid growth, trust-building, and continuous learning are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead market adoption of Dexcom CGM technologies by:

  • Driving adoption of Dexcom CGM products in:

    • Primary care settings
    • Community & third-sector organisations
    • Hospital discharge programmes
  • Supporting local ICS/CCG real-time CGM policy implementation by:

    • Screening high-potential NHS accounts
    • Encouraging new patient initiations and appropriate switches from competitors
    • Facilitating Partnering with local clinicians and decision-makers to optimize access
  • Delivering commercial strategy execution by:

    • Training & up-skilling healthcare professionals on Dexcom’s latest devices through innovative and compliant engagement methods.
    • Collaborating with internally stakeholders (e.g., Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Clinical Negotiations teams) to ensure territory-wide implementation.
  • Strategic territory management:

    • Prioritising routine visits and high-impact accounts
    • Using real-time CRM and data analysis to identify growth opportunities
    • Aligning activity to customer and business needs
  • Setting and achieving sales targets:

    • Increasing Dexcom market share and driving sensor sales in-line with company expectations
  • Stakeholder engagement:

    • Strengthening relationships with primary care & community care prescribers, nurses, diabetes specialists, ICS/CCG contacts, commissioners, and other healthcare influencers.

Requirements

Essential

  • Some experience in healthcare, sales, or a comparable commercial environment, OR strong transferable sales experience.

  • A genuine passion in developing a long-term career in medical sales and diabetes care.

  • Ability to rapidly learn and apply:

    • Clinical diabetes knowledge
    • Dexcom product expertise
    • Selling techniques
    • Market access and NHS practices
    • Territory planning using CRM systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated ability to:

    • Use data-driven insights to prioritise accounts
    • Communicate clearly, both verbally and written
    • Organise sales territories & activities.
    • Build strong relationships with clients & internal colleagues
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.

Nice to Have

  • Pre-existing exposure to diabetes management, medical devices, or the NHS environment.
  • Experience supporting primary/secondary care accounts or working in community healthcare settings.
  • A degree or qualification in:
    • Life Sciences
    • Business
    • Healthcare management
    • Or another relevant professional development background
  • Prior experience in medical device marketing or biotech sales.
