Junior Trade Marketing Manager Maison Francis Kurkdjian London (with hybrid working: 3 days in-office at High Street Kensington)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and commercially astute Junior Trade Marketing Manager to shape the growth and market presence of Maison Francis Kurkdjian. This is a key opportunity to deliver strategic trade marketing initiatives that drive UK & Ireland sell-out, enhance brand desirability, and fortify our leadership position in the fragrance category.
Candidates must exhibit a strategic mindset, strong analytical capability, and the ability to translate market insights into high-impact, ROI-driven trade marketing strategies—while immersing themselves in luxury beauty.
Mission Statement
The role will implement the overall UK & IE marketing strategy, focusing on:
- Driving commercial sell-out through rigorous trade marketing plans and creative animations.
- Ensuring all activities are market-insight-driven, profit-led, and budgets-conscious.
- Overtaking competitive brand leadership within our limited distribution framework.
Key Responsibilities
📈 Trade Marketing Leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Commercial, Retail, specific store groups, from flagships to new/strategic rollouts) to:
- Define, refine, and execute highly profitable Trade Marketing plans.
- Develop tailored retail strategies to enhance brand equity and deliver measurable sales growth.
- Showcase prudent negotiation skills to:
- Foster retailer willingness to differentiate visibility for Maison Francis Kurkdjian in competitive retail landscapes.
- Align internal stakeholders to support a unified brand vision.
- Build and maintain proactive partnerships with:
- Retailers
- LVMH colleagues in the UK
- External entity HAVAS to position MFK as a preferred luxury investment.

🎯 Commercial Conviction & Stakeholder Influence
- Embed a commercial mindset into all decision-making:
- Integrate market/performance analyses into consumer-centric strategic plans with clear ROI targets.
- Act as a street-level analyst for seller-level insights, reporting and communicating stock performance (per-store).
- Protect distribution integrity by advocating growth in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels.
🚀 Animation & In-Store Impact
- Pilot & manage high-visibility campaigns (pop-up promotional sites, in-store media, events, POSM).
- Lead briefs to the Visual Merchandising team with short/long-term objectives (consumers driven, retailers delighted).
🔍 Market Insight & Performance
- Primary responsibility: Extract, interpret, and act on market data (Circana/Havas reports):
- Provide actionable insights across the organization and Head Office.
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and DeepDive trend analysis to:
- Spot upside opportunities and threats.
- Project alignment with broader campaigns (e.g., establishing brand awareness).
- Partner across HQ and Havas to inform growth strategies, including media recommendations.
💰 Budget & Financial Oversight
- Collaborate with Retail cadence and partner teams to:
- Bid & allocate funding across trade promotions, media, and POSM, boosting commercial impact.
- Manage cross-functional forecasting for POSM in-bound/out-bound.
- Deliver monthly allocations while keeping In-Store teams aligned.

🚀 Required Competencies / Technical skills
Proven expertise in marketing analysis, ideation, negotiation, and executing multi-channel strategies essential:
- Commercial Proficiency: Aggressively drove revenue with sharp financial/analytical skills.
- Stakeholder Arcology: Earn and maintain alliances with high value contacts across teams, from operators to C-level.
- Projectify: Demonstrably juggle diverse deadlines, with custom execution excellence (PO works, press releases, pink slips, etc.).
- Presentation Mastery: Command audience and impression, in oral and written formats.
- Data Literacy: Seasoned Excel & PowerPoint ( visualization compelling).
- French: While not compulsory, a bless.
✈ Experience Overview
- Do Have: University degree (any discipline) + 2 years marketing (capable in S Wilder consumer landscape or cosmetics/perfumery ideally).
- Do Also: Prior prove of retail fitment: Connections or pitching history with levées charges ( EU tier 1 retailers).
