DV affiliates include two broker dealers, a futures commission merchant, and a registered investment adviser.
Overview
We are looking for a Junior Trading Operations Analyst to join the DV Commodities team in London. This is a middle-office role, working closely with traders and senior operations to support the day-to-day running of the trading desks. You will monitor trading activity, resolve issues in real-time, and help improve the processes and tools that underpin the company's performance. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities
- Act as primary support for the trading desks, handling ad-hoc queries from traders and stakeholders
- Perform daily PnL reconciliation and reporting, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Monitor pricing and risk, identifying and escalating issues where necessary
- Serve as the first point of contact for operational and trade-related issues
- Investigate breaks across internal systems, brokers, and exchanges, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve them
- Contribute to process improvements and controls to reduce manual work and operational risk
- Work on data-driven projects to improve reporting, transparency, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in trading, operations, or a data-focused role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to debug issues across data, systems, and workflows
- Strong Excel skills
- Hands-on experience using Python and/or SQL to work with and analyze data
- Interest in trading and energy markets
- Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced, real-time environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with traders and stakeholders
- Experience with or interest in automating workflows
