Junior watchmaker/ Senior technician

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Watchmaker/Senior Watch Technician to join our Farringdon workshop. We are one of the fastest-growing start-ups within the UK watch industry and are increasing our team capacity to support our growing business. Working within a professional luxury watch environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of technical interventions, high-value casing work, diagnostics, and servicing tasks on prestige and complication timepieces from some of the world’s leading watch brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • De-casing and re-casing prestige and high-complication luxury watches
  • Carrying out technical interventions on a variety of watches, including:
    • Timekeeping regulation
    • Hand re-alignment
    • Automatic module servicing
    • Bezel re-alignment
    • Battery replacements and resealing
    • Escapement cleaning
  • Performing diagnostics across a wide range of mechanical and quartz watches
  • Diagnosing and assessing warranty repairs
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with brand and workshop standards
  • Supporting workshop efficiency and maintaining accurate service records

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • WOSTEP, BHI, or equivalent watchmaking certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of practical, hands-on watchmaking or watch technician experience
  • Strong understanding of luxury case construction, mechanical and quartz watch movements
  • 5+ GCSEs (or equivalent, grades A–C)
  • High-level English language skills
