Description
deVOL Kitchens is a leading kitchen and homewares brand with showrooms in Leicestershire, London, Bath, New York and Los Angeles.
The company has seen exceptional growth in the last few years, particularly with the success of our online shop, which is developed and managed in-house by our Creative Design Team.
We are now looking for an ambitious entry-level Junior Web Developer to join the team. Applicants will have the opportunity to work across several websites for deVOL and its sister company, Floors of Stone.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities in the role include:
- Improving the UI/UX of our websites.
- Maintaining and improving existing code.
- Building web pages and features from designs.
- Developing and maintaining international eCommerce websites.
- Support with testing new features.

Skills & Attributes
We are looking for someone who:
- Possesses a good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML and CSS.
- Excels in problem-solving and communication skills.
- Has a basic knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
- Is familiar with browser testing and debugging.
- Has experience with Git for version control.
- Experience with Shopify.
Professional experience is not required; we welcome applicants who are eager to learn new skills and embrace new challenges.

In return, we offer a competitive salary starting from £27,000 per annum (based on experience), and during your first year, you will receive training in the role and performance appraisals.
