About the Team
ACCEL Schools is hiring highly qualified K-5th Grade Teachers at North Bend STEM Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio for the 2026–2027 school year. We seek passionate educators dedicated to bringing the curriculum to life—fostering both academic excellence and social-emotional development in every student. About the Opportunity
The Teacher will play a critical role in providing a rigorous and student-centered learning experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and delivering engaging lesson plans, with the flexibility to adapt as needed throughout the school year
- Differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Tracking and documenting student progress via assessments and development reports
- Applying research-based best practices in daily instruction
- Managing classroom behavior with fairness and consistency
- Designing a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Aligning with school curricula that includes diverse cultures, languages, and backgrounds
- Incorporating school-wide culture expectations and norms
- Partnering with families to support their child’s academic and social-emotional growth
- Integrating technology to enhance student learning
- Participating in non-instructional activities as required
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance student outcomes
- Performing other assigned duties as requested

About You
To succeed in this role, we require:
- Active Ohio teaching license (current, or with applicable approval status)
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
- Comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment—including frequent observations, feedback, action planning, and progress monitoring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student and operational information
- Capacity to supervises students across various settings (classroom, playground, cafeteria, etc.)
- Passing of federal and state criminal background checks
- Experience working in an urban school environment (preferred but not required)

Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $41,000 – $50,500, influenced by location, experience, education, and qualifications.
