Kafka Migration Engineer (.NET + Kafka)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid 2-3 days/week)

Contract: 4 Months

Start Date: Immediately

Key Requirements

  • Strong C#/.NET development experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka & Confluent Cloud
  • Experience with Confluent.Kafka .NET client library
  • Knowledge of Kafka producers, consumers, consumer groups, offsets & partitions
  • Experience with Schema Registry, SASL/PLAIN authentication, and ACLs
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for.NET Kafka integrations
  • Experience with Avro/JSON Schema serialization
  • Kafka monitoring, performance tuning & throughput validation

  • Migrate Kafka producers & consumers to Confluent Cloud
  • Update Confluent.Kafka .NET client configurations
  • Validate end-to-end message flows
  • Ensure consumer group & offset management integrity
  • Perform Kafka performance testing and optimization
  • Collaborate with.NET engineers to resolve integration issues
