Kendo Brands Supervisor

Kendo Brands Supervisor

Location: Sephora, Meadowhall Hours: 30 hrs per week

Summary

As a true ambassador for all Kendo Brands in Sephora, the Supervisor will:

  • Support the business and lead the team in-store
  • Ensure the team aligns with brand guidelines
  • Work closely with the Sales & Education Executive to plan staffing, coverage, and budgets
  • Drive daily/weekly/monthly/annual sales goals
  • Manage testers, samples, and non-sellable goods within budget
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience

This role reports to the Area Manager – North.

Kendo Brands: Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Hair, Fenty Fragrance, and Ole Henriksen


Requirements & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Guide, inspire, and motivate a team of full/part-time Makeup Artists, including:
    • Staffing rotation schedules
    • Coaching on sales & artistry skills
    • Setting individual sales goals
  • Set the example in exceptional product knowledge and service
  • Lead the team to deliver a flawless customer experience and build a loyal clientele base to drive sales
  • Oversee sales goals and payroll investments to meet financial targets
  • Take a strategic approach to growing brand business within the store
  • Build strong, effective relationships with:
    • Sephora management
    • Internal Kendo teams
  • Develop a plan to continuously develop and refine:
    • Sales skills
    • Artistry expertise
    • Customer service standards
  • Manage in-store testers and samples
  • Represent the brand with respect, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility
  • Maintain a professional and ethical approach, adhering to Kendo, brand, and Sephora guidelines
  • Build positive, collaborative relationships with:
    • Team members
    • Store partners
  • Maintain excellent personal grooming standards

Profile Requirements

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a luxury retail environment
  • Accomplished high-level make-up artistry background
  • At least 2 years of retail experience (preferably at a supervisory level)
  • Strong business acumen with strategic planning expertise
  • Proven ability to:
    • Build and execute a clientele strategy
    • Lead, develop, and motivate staff (including conflict resolution and problem-solving)
    • Achieve financial goals through forward planning
  • Excellent skills in:
    • Customer service
    • Client relationship management
    • Communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commercial awareness
