Key Account Director (Facilities Management)

London – Site-Based Role

At ISS Facility Services UK, we’re seeking an experienced Key Account Director (Facilities Management) to lead and deliver high-value facilities management (FM) solutions for one of our new banking clients in London.

This critical leadership role requires full accountability for the contract, ensuring operational excellence, strong client relationships, and sustainable commercial performance. The Key Account Director will play a central role in optimising contract performance, embedding innovation, and fostering long-term client partnerships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage large, complex facilities management contracts across single or multiple sites, holding full accountability for delivery, performance and compliance.
  • Ensure all contractual deliverables, KPIs, and SLAs are met or exceeded consistently.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders, aligning service delivery with client objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end facilities services, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Take full financial responsibility for the account, including:
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Cost control
    • Profit and loss (P&L) performance
  • Drive operational efficiency and profitability through:
    • Effective resource planning
    • Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, develop, and mentor operational leaders and teams to foster high performance and engagement.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for:
    • Service enhancement
    • Contract renewal
    • Commercial growth

Professional & Personal Competencies

Essential Experience

✅ Proven track record of leading complex, high-value FM contracts ✅ Strong commercial acumen, including:

  • Full P&L ownership
  • Budgeting, forecasting and margin improvement ✅ Experience in multi-site operations, thriving in fast-paced and evolving environments ✅ Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large, diverse teams, including operational and supervisory staff ✅ Deep understanding of contractual obligations, SLAs and KPIs, with hands-on experience in performance monitoring and reporting
