- Attend and lead customer meetings with the support of the Sales Manager where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with your line manager, and team, to achieve sales goals and targets.
- Provide support to the Sales Manager, including creation of customer new line forms and presentations.
- Collaborate and work closely with counterparts in Editorial, Marketing, Publicity and Art to gather materials for presentations.
- Work with wider group sales colleagues, ensuring they have what they need from an Ebury perspective and also to contribute and share wider market knowledge/learnings where appropriate.
- Handle requests from various teams across the division, e.g. reporting on specific title performance or bookseller requests.
- Perform daily administrative tasks, performing market and title specific analysis, maintaining spreadsheets and databases and updating retailer budgets and orders alongside Key Account Managers with meticulous attention to detail.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
