About the Role

As our National Account Executive, you will support the NAC (National Account Controller) and NAM (National Account Manager) in executing the Suntory Commercial Plan with key customers, with the objective of meeting and exceeding the designated business KPIs.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the NAC and NAM in developing a matrix of contacts
  • Manage weekly orders to ensure clear communication between supply and customer
  • Support the NAC and NAM in selling LRS (Long-Term Relations Shops) products and plans
  • Support the NAC and NAM in negotiating the Joint Business Plan
  • Manage the external relationship with the customer
  • Ensure all administrative tasks associated with the customer are delivered to a high standard—this includes:
    • Preparing promotional proposals
    • Handling invoicing
    • Managing debt
  • Work with the NAC and NAM to deliver the execution of the LRS Commercial Plan, using all appropriate levers to create maximum brand impact
  • Work with Supply Chain to ensure the right levels of stock availability at all times
  • Collaborate with BDE (Business Development Executives) and RDE (Regional Development Executives) teams to ensure plans are executed
  • Actively pursue new opportunities across Wholesale and retail business
  • Develop an annual customer plan (alongside the NAC and NAM) to meet and exceed target KPIs
  • Hold P&L (Profit & Loss) responsibility for:
    • Bestway retail
    • Vans
    • Catering
  • Forecast all volume and working spend in line with the agreed commercial calendar and customer activations
  • Deliver the customer’s volume, net sales, and gross profit (GP) targets across month, quarter, and year
  • Ensure actual working spend aligns with customer invoicing for an accurate reflection of the customer’s financial position
  • Conduct a monthly review and analysis of customer performance versus plans and previous year

What You Need to Be Successful

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree or equivalent qualification
  • Understanding of how an Account Manager/Buyer relationship functions
  • Experience in building relationships at all levels within an external organisation
  • A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach to fostering and maintaining long-term customer relationships

Skill Set

  • Financial numeracy to develop strategically sound, financially robust proposals that exploit growth opportunities
  • **Strong Excel skills, including experience with TPM (Trade Promotions Management) and volume forecasting systems
  • A good understanding of the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) marketplace, its key players, and projected market dynamics
  • Excellent commercial and organisational skills
