The Role
The Recipe (About the Role)
As Key Account Manager, you will drive sustainable growth across key customers, channels and formats by building strong partnerships and delivering customer-focused commercial strategies. Working closely with the National Account Manager, you will identify growth opportunities, use data and customer insight to inform judgements, and collaborate across the business to achieve sales, profitability and category needs. You will also leverage digital tools and forecasting capabilities to enhance performance and help long-term customer success.
- Manage key customer accounts to deliver sales, revenue and profit targets while building strong, long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute customer plans, promotional activity and forecasts to drive sustainable growth and maximise ROI.
- Use shopper, category and customer insights to identify opportunities and inform commercial judgement.
- Collaborate across Sales, Category and Commercial teams to deliver customer-focused growth strategies.
- Monitor performance, market trends and competitor activity to optimise results and uncover new opportunities.
- Help the successful launch of new products and drive strong in-store execution across relevant channels.
- Champion the use of data, forecasting tools and digital technologies to improve planning and performance.
- Continuously improve ways of working, enhancing efficiency and creating value for customers and the business.

The Ingredients (What we need from you)
Key Know How:
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
- Experience working with customers or helping key accounts in FMCG or similar pace sectors.
- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative, be action-oriented and deliver results.
- High personal resilience and ability to stay composed under commercial pressure.
- Desire and potential to progress into a future National Account Manager role.
