About You

As Key Account Manager – Wholesale, you will have full commercial responsibility for the Booker account, delivering sustainable, profitable growth across the Suntory portfolio. This is a hands-on role requiring strong commercial acumen, customer leadership, and cross-functional collaboration and influence.

You will lead the development and execution of a robust customer strategy aligned to the Suntory Commercial Plan, translating brand and category ambition into compelling customer plans. Working closely with Category, Marketing, Supply Collaboration & demand and Finance, you will operate with a true “one team” mindset to deliver against agreed KPIs, JBPs and financial targets.

About Your Role

  • Own and manage the P&L of assigned key accounts with monthly reviews to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term collaborative relationships with customers and distributor partners.
  • Execute Suntory brand activations (Ribena, Lucozade, Orangina) to ensure optimal market presence and consumer engagement.
  • Drive sales performance to meet or exceed volume, revenue, and gross profit targets aligned with business unit KPIs.
  • Plan and manage trade spend and forecast accurately to support business objectives.
  • Conduct regular Gemba visits to gain in-depth market and customer insights to inform strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and executional excellence.
  • Lead negotiations with customers based on well-prepared plans to maximize commercial outcomes.
  • Develop self and team capabilities through continuous learning, coaching, and feedback.

What You need to be successful

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or commercial roles, preferably in FMCG
  • Strong commercial acumen and P&L management experience
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to continuous learning and personal development

Desirable

  • Experience managing distributor relationships and trade marketing initiatives
  • Knowledge of the beverage industry and Suntory’s brand portfolio
  • Experience with hybrid working environments and remote collaboration tools
  • Additional training or certifications in sales management or commercial strategy
