Corporate Account Manager (B2B) – UK-Based (Nordics Focus) – FMCG Sector

The Opportunity

Nigel Wright Group is partnering with a high-growth client serving large FMCG corporate buyers (direct-to-consumer goods, not for resale). This UK-based role, based in proximity to Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh, or near Heathrow Airport, offers a high-profile commercial leadership opportunity with Nordic international trade exposure.

Selected candidates will join a repeat client and take responsibility for managing key accounts via frequent high-level client engagement. The travel pattern is hybrid-in-office-flexible: typically 2–3 of every 4 weeks, travelling Monday mornings and returning late Fridays.

This role is ideal for a commercial professional on an upward trajectory, ideally with 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or corporate procurement.

Role Profile

The Corporate Account Manager will act as the primary single point of contact for clients’ procurement needs across their product SKUs. Key responsibilities include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
