Exciting new sales opportunity in Fresh Produce to the Foodservice sector
THE COMPANY:
We are an established Foodservice wholesaler with a turnover of over £100 Million and a strong reputation in the UK. In terms of product range we comprehensively supply Frozen, Chilled and ambient lines, but also have a strong reputation for fresh produce. We are known for our strong quality of product and level of service. Our customer base spans across all of foodservice – but we have particular success within travel, hotel, pub, leisure and restaurant sectors. We are proud of our positive and teamworking culture and our supportive and experience management team. Due a successful last 12 months of training, we are seeking to add dedicated field based Foodservice Sales professionals to our team to support further growth with our existing customer base and add further new companies to our client portfolio.

THE ROLE:
This position involves responsibility for developing new foodservice business across the South West and South of the UK. You will be targeted on bringing on multi site or large one site operators across a range of hospitality led areas including restaurants, hotels, contract caterers, pubs and leisure. Once you have brought these accounts on board you will be responsible for staff retention and further growth of these accounts through strong customer service and introducing in new products. The role is field based by nature, but due to the strategic element of the role you will also be home based at times. This is fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a fresh produce sales background ambitious for career growth and looking to work with a company with a positive culture.

THE APPLICANT:

Candidates must have a proven track record in Field Sales with Foodservice wholesale in Fresh produce.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate success at winning business at buyer level.
Candidates must be happy with travel as part of the role as well as working home based.
Candidates must be effective team workers with a high activity rate and strong new business skills.
